The picture came out very nicely. However, I wish that the digitally ordered photo would be created in a higher resolution. Currently, it is only created with 150dpi, so when viewing the small images, blurriness quickly becomes visible. I would prefer a resolution of 300dpi.

Overall, the picture turned out great. Unfortunately, we chose the smallest tiles, and they are really tiny, you can't really make anything out on them. In principle, Rapid-Mosaic tries to use each uploaded photo at least once. Some photos fit better in different places in the original image than others, which can lead to this "imbalance." Various algorithms ensure that the images are homogeneously distributed despite repetitions. Some employees are just "something special," and there can only be one of them, right?

If there are distracting images in the mosaic picture, you can completely remove them from the photo mosaic. Simply go to "EDIT MOSAIC IMAGE", view the photos included in the mosaic under "Individual Images" and remove or rotate images if necessary.

In the mosaic preview, information about image usage is displayed. There you can see whether all images were used and also see exactly which images are not included in the mosaic picture. This could have various causes:
  • The format (landscape/portrait/square) of the image does not fit the mosaic tiles and would otherwise have to be too heavily cropped. Heads or other important parts of the image might be cut off.
    Tip: Use the "Parquet" or "Chaos" mosaic type. This allows portrait and landscape formats to be used more effectively.
  • No suitable place was found in the mosaic picture for the image.
  • The image could not be read as a graphic file.
