Actually, your finished mosaic is a genuine photo mosaic, created by placing your individual small images based on color and brightness—unlike many other providers who only simulate a mosaic effect. If you look closely at your car mosaic, you’ll notice, for example, that your night photos were carefully arranged in the darker areas of the larger image for the best visual match. The effect becomes stronger the more unique small photos are available, as the mosaic engine can then use different areas of those small photos to build up the main picture. Additionally, to further reinforce the overall subject and make the mosaic even clearer, we offer the option to blend the original main image lightly over the mosaic tiles. This overlay’s strength is adjustable, letting you find the ideal balance between visible photo tiles and the clarity of the main subject.
